The CESR Pathway—now officially renamed the Portfolio Pathway—is a route to specialist registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) in the UK. It’s designed for doctors who haven’t followed a traditional UK training programme but can demonstrate that they have acquired equivalent skills, knowledge, and experience.
