The Portfolio Pathway (formerly known as CESR – Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration) is a route provided by the General Medical Council (GMC) in the UK that allows doctors to join the Specialist Register (or GP Register) without completing a GMC-approved training programme (CCT route).
