The CESR (Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration) pathway is designed for doctors who have not followed a traditional UK training program but wish to join the GMC’s Specialist Register. To apply, candidates must demonstrate that their knowledge, skills, and experience are equivalent to those of a doctor who has completed UK specialty training (CCT).
