The eye-catching colors are rendered on the fiberglass composite case through a complex process. First, the glass is melted at 1500°C and drawn into ultra-fine filaments, which are then cooled and formed into sheets at 700°C. Known for its provocative "Fxxking Rabbits" pattern, the brand first collaborated with Franck Muller two years ago to create the FR2NCK MULLER Vanguard watch. The limited edition watch cleverly combines #FR2's iconic pattern with avant-garde and fashionable design, and it quickly became a popular item for streetwear lovers.
This year, Franck Muller and #FR2’s follow-up collaboration also continues the “Fxxking Rabbits” pattern. However, instead of using monochrome, the new #FR2NCK MULLER Vanguard Beach Limited Edition watch is embellished with bright summer tones, evoking the carefree feeling of sunny days and gentle sea breezes - which can't help but recall the Franck Muller Vanguard Beach series also released in 2023.
The #FR2NCK MULLER Vanguard Beach Limited Edition watch is available in three color schemes derived from the original Vanguard Beach series: Heat Wave Red, Surf Blue and Tropical Green. These three colors evoke the beauty of summer, while the dials suggest endless possibilities. To create these highly saturated cases, the glass is first melted at a high temperature of 1500°C and drawn into extremely fine glass strands, which are then cooled into thin sheets at a high temperature of 700°C. The flakes are then dipped into special dyeing tanks to achieve the desired hue before being compressed into a fiberglass composite block.
The iconic Fxxking Rabbits are naturally the central element of these watches, appearing under beach umbrellas, on surfboards and amidst lush vegetation. To complete each scene, the date window is cleverly placed at 2 o’clock, a subtle nod to #FR2 and a symbol of the sun shining overhead. To enhance visual depth and nighttime readability, the rabbit motif and the skeletonized obelisk hands are coated with Super Luminova, making the dial glow in the dark.
On a technical level, the #FR2NCK MULLER Vanguard Beach Limited Edition collection is the perfect blend of Franck Muller’s signature technical excellence and exceptional wearing experience.
