The Portfolio Pathway is the new name for what was previously called CESR (Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration). It allows doctors who haven’t completed a UK specialty training programme (CCT) to gain entry to the GMC Specialist Register by demonstrating that they have equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience (KSE) to a UK-trained consultant.
